In a million years, I would've never thought that neither Cartoon Network or Adult Swim would acknowledge or let alone air the "What A Cartoon" anthology series ever again. The last time it aired on American television was on Cartoon Network in 2000 (2003 if you count the segments that aired on The Cartoon Cartoon Show) and on Boomerang in 2009.

The series will begin airing on the Checkered Past block on July 29th starting with a select handful of shorts, most notably the Larry and Steve short that led to the creation of Family Guy. Definitely an exciting edition to the block, hopefully they'll do something cool for the block's first anniversary on August 28th.

Also ACME Night's hiatus will prolong, so Futurama will continue airing on Sundays at 5-7 PM just like back in February, a much better time slot than the 4 AM graveyard slot. Maybe the show has been getting decent ratings at the new time? It is also unknown whether or not ACME Night is gone for real this time or if it is on an extended vacation.
