I was wanting a modern, geometric rug for my dining area with a natural, organic silhouette - so I made one using carpet tiles!

I combined my thrifted carpet tiles, some house paint, and gaffers tape to make a one of kind rug that brings a subtle but graphic look to my space.

Mistakes were made - including my math at the end (final total was $37.50... not $39.50) - but hopefully this project will offer you some ideas, techniques, and inspiration!
