Here I show the way I resin-fill the Emeralds and other stones.
I use the best resin and most effective equipment to achieve top end results.
Fissure filling on Emeralds is an ancient treatment used to enhance the beauty of these gems, It is world wide accepted practice and it doesn't affect Emeralds' final value.
Originally achieved using oils, today's technology gives us a better and more durable method using low viscosity resins.
Surely a naturally clean gemstone has a much higher value but avoiding this practice will mean rendering most part of the mined Emeralds absolutely useless.
