Hey guys, back with another VGM cover as always, and this time, I put on the faux tuxedo and covered another song from the Goldeneye N64 game, my first in a couple of years (my previous being the Dam theme from 3 years ago)

The silo theme is another favourite song of mine from the game which I wanted to do a cover of. It was also an easy tune to learn and put together relatively quickly. I didn’t bother changing the structure of the main song, only combining the main theme and the escape theme. The biggest change I’ve made is the addition of distorted rhythm guitars and subtle changes to how the drums are played in some parts. In regards to the genre I aimed for with this cover I went with an Industrial Metal cover sound. The genre closely resembles the style of the original version and listening to the finished product of my cover I think it bears some resemblance to notable Industrial Metal bands like Rammstein and Fear Factory, with it’s use of drop tunings, synthesizers.
