“Use of Digital Technology as an Enabling Strategy for Empowering Women Micro Entrepreneurs from Marginalized Communities in the Context of COVID-19 in Nepal” is LASER PULSE funded research project implemented by Little Angels’ College of Management, Heifer International Nepal and Kathmandu University in Chitwan and Bardia district of Nepal. The research objective is to identify barriers and enablers to the adoption of digital technology among women micro-entrepreneurs of marginalized communities, to identify and test enabling practices for the adoption of digital technology among women micro-entrepreneurs of marginalized communities and to understand the relationship between the use of DT and empowerment of women micro-entrepreneurs of marginalized communities.

The Knowledge sharing video has showcased how digital technology has facilitated to women empowerment in Chitwan and Bardia districts of Nepal. Let’s witness inspiring stories of women micro entrepreneur who have leveraged digital technology to get access to information, financial independence and leadership development and create meaningful impact in their communities.
