I had some old Public Safety radios I wanted to see if they could be repurposed as ham radios. In this video, we will be working with the TK-880 UHF (450MHz-490MHz) and see if we can get it down to the 440 MHz 70cm Ham band ! Let's hack a radio !

-----How to tell What Type / Version your TK-880 is ------

You can determine this from the Last 3 digits in FCC ID Number on the back.
Type 1 ends in 110,
Type 2 ends in 120,
Type 3 ends in 130.

Type 1 stock coverage 450-490MHz (Used in Video, Preferable for GMRS / 70cm Ham )
Type 2 stock coverage 485-512MHz
Type 3 stock coverage 400-430MHz
