LARGE ABSTRACT PAINTING RESIN ART - LAST LAYER POUR - EPOXY RESIN PAINTING TECHNIQUES - 3D RESIN ART - ART RESIN - RESIN ART TUTORIAL - "Golden Touch" by Rasko
Hello there Resin enthusiasts!
This is a short video of how I fixed final layer of this large resin art called "Golden Touch". I had some issues with last clear coat of Art resin due to sagging near the edges. That happens if you use stretched canvas (especially large) for pouring resin. Resin is really thick and heavy, so canvas sags and imperfections are unavoidable. This is why you should always use cradled wooden panels for creating resin art.
I used hard cardboard at the bottom of canvas for support to stop canvas from sagging. I still finished this piece with perfect finish, but I would spend less hours and expensive resin if I would just use wooden panels like I usually do.
Please leave a comment, let me know what you think or ask me a question bellow.
I use:
Stretched canvas (Don't use it for resin art, wooden panels are far easier to work with)
Acrylic Gesso for priming
GOLDEN High flow Acrylic paints
Floetrol
Liquitex High Gloss Medium
GOLDEN Matte medium
Art Resin
Heat gun
