What an amazing couple that I had the pleasure to work with and to capture their memorable day.

We started in the morning for their dress preparations in Long island city at Du Val suites adjacent to their venue - The Foundry. The Du Val suite is a great space for getting ready as it's spacious and has an amazing garden terrace that overlooks the 59th street bridge. It is also where we had first look and couple's portraits.
The groom got dress in a separate suite at the Foundry where there was a pool table to hang out and relax.

After first look, we went to Gantry Plaza State Park which has amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. There's a broadwalk/path that takes you along by the river. While might be crowds depending on the day and time, you can still find some space to take some amazing couple's portraits like we did for the wedding film. Gantry Plaza State Park also host the iconic Long Island and Pepsi signs.

The ceremony and reception which follows were both located at The Foundry. The Foundry is a gorgeous venue with a history that goes with it. Once a steel varnishes manufacturing plant, it now hosts weddings, event space, and even used in movies and television. The main space boasts an industrial chic atmosphere, with exposed brick surrounding the ground floor and mezzanine. The couple had a great time celebrating their wedding at the Foundry and had an unforgettable night! What a blast it was for me to be part of their amazing day!
