What is the difference between DIRECTIONAL and NON-DIRECTIONAL HYPOTHESES? What even is a HYPOTHESIS?
Every experiment starts with a hypothesis - predicting the outcome of the experiment. Directional hypotheses predict the direction of a relationship between the independent variable and dependent variable, whereas non-directional hypotheses simply predict there will be a relatonship, but without specifying a direction.
