Hello everyone, I have long planned to change the light in the workshop. I took linear LED lamps for replacement.

They are better than luminescent ones for a very large number of indicators:
absolutely safe (do not contain mercury)
economical
easily turn on in the cold
do not flicker, which is good for the eyes, and shooting video

The disadvantages of LED lamps still include a higher price compared to fluorescent lamps.

I dismantled the old lighting, installed new lamps. The fixtures were placed around the perimeter of the garage, 65 centimeters away from the walls. With this arrangement, if you work behind a workbench, the light does not enter the eyes, and it is quite comfortable to work.

Also, this kind of light is very good for filming video. As they say, there is never too much light in the garage. The luminaires are equipped with 2 lamps of 6500 Kelvin, with a power of 18 watts, the equivalent of a 40-watt ordinary lamp. LED bulbs measuring 1.2 meters, socket G13, lamp form factor T8.

Complemented the lighting system with standby lighting. These are 2 lamps in the center of the garage, for a calm, subdued light.

Such LED luminaires are highly recommended for installation in a workshop or garage.
