After four days of racing, and plenty of ups and downs, it’s time for the infamous Wheeler stage. We’ll be climbing up to over 12,000 feet (3658 m) of elevation, not once but twice, in only 25 miles (40 km). This means hike-a-bike – and a lot of it.

Despite being the shortest stage in terms of mileage, this may very well be the hardest - a physical challenge yes, but even more so a test of mental fortitude.
