How to replace rear brake pads on a 2015-2022 Lexus RX350 equipped with electronic parking brakes. Usually, I use a scan tool to retract the electronic parking brake mechanism, but not everyone has access to that. In this video, I show the step by step procedures on how to perform this job using regular brake tools.

Tools Required:

17mm wrench
14mm wrench
5mm and 6mm hex socket or wrench
21mm socket to remove and torque wheels.
19mm socket
1/2 and 3/8 ratchets
1/2 and 3/8 torque wrenches.l
single piston brake caliper retract tool.

parts used:

OE rear brake pads (made by akebono)
OE rear brake pad shims
Brake caliper grease
