Here is a pair of Spring Loaded Door Bucks (door holder stand) I put together so I can mortise out for the hinges on some interior doors.

The spring loaded door bucks open and close on their own with the help of a large elastic band located under the base, these are held in place with two recessed 1/4" bolts, which allows the door bucks to open and close automatically when placing the door down on the bucks and when you remove the door. I had to add two small 3//4" blocks on the bottom side to give the elastic band more tension because they did not open and close on their own on the first try.

The rest of these are made using scraps of plywood I already had on hand.
