Let's take a look at a common safety issue with one of the most important components of your vehicle - Tire Dry Rot.
Rubber breaks down over time and your tires are always exposed to harsh elements like atmosphere, sun damage, etc. Your tires are always fluctuating between extreme temperatures - this heating and cooling causing the rubber to get hard and crack.
Tires should be replaced once visible dry rot becomes apparent.
Tire manufacturers recommend replacing tires at 6 year intervals even if substantial tread depth remains.
