This video briefly introduces the Avocado Pollination eDNA project and then hears from Curtin University PhD candidate Joshua Kestel who describes his ongoing research to detect flower-visiting insects on avocados in South West WA.

This research is part of a Smart Farming Partnership project to develop management practices and plant-species lists that attract pollinators and protect beneficial insects. The project is supported by South West Catchments Council, through funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Program.
