The European Parliament is holding a debate on whether the war-hit Ukraine requires continued financial and military aid from the European Union. War-hit Ukraine which is been facing Russia-led attacks from past four years is being provided aide by the European Union in the form of currency notes, food, military weapons and army support. As per EU's official site, the Commission had paid €1.5 billion to Ukraine. With this payment, Ukraine has so far received €16.5 billion out of the planned €18 billion in Macro-Financial Assistance + for 2023.
