Caprese Burger is a fantastic way to blend the flavors of Italy with the classic American Staple, the burger. In this video we sear off a patty of ground Short rib, brisket and ribeye cap seasoned with Salt and Pepper. We sear it on the Ballistic Griddle so that its gets a nice flavorful crust on Both Sides. I have never made this before and it completely exceeded my expectations the flavors all came together to make for a Outrageously delicious Burger.

Caprese Burger Ingredients

Good for 2 Burgers:
1 Beefsteak tomato (season with Salt and Pepper)
Desired amount of Fresh basil
Desired amount of Fresh Mozzeralla
Beef Brisket, Short Rib & Ribeye Cap - grinder and formed into a burger patty.
Bun of choice - I used Brioche in the video.

We are going to use the Weber Kettle and the to make the Burgers using the Ballistic BBQ Griddle the griddle is perfect for searing burgers to get a beautiful tasty Crust. to get the heat we need Fill up a full chimney with Charcoal and place under the Ballistic Griddle.

Make sure your griddle is scorching hot. Allow time for surface to get as hot as possible as we need to be to make the flavorful crust on the burger. Apply some clarified butter or Ghee - I used Ghee in the video and place burger pressing down for 10 seconds onto the griddle. season patty and then continue to cook until until desired doneness and flip and repeat. Once you get the burger just the way you like it add the cheese to allow for it to melt a bit and toast the buns.

Remove Burger Patty and Buns and Assemble the burger with Desired amounts of Tomato and Basil - If you like add some Balsamic Vinegar & Oil and Enjoy.
