On May 22, you have the opportunity to help one of our own families who has a need. Becky Culpepper has faithfully served in Kid’s Ministry for many years. She is legal guardian to Landon, who she brings with her to church. Landon has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and gets around in a wheelchair. Two of our men help Becky each week get Landon in and out of her regular van, because as he has gotten older, it is difficult for her to lift him. We want to help this family get a handicapped-accessible van. They have already been given a grant of $10,000 from another non-profit and they need about $45,000.

To help them, we are having a Cake Auction on Sunday, May 22 from 12-1pm. Many cakes will be available in a silent auction, plus cake slices will be available for $5 to snack on during the auction.

Please plan to come by after church that day and bid on a delicious treat for a good cause. The Cake Auction will be held in the Central Chapel in Building C.
