In this episode we see Christian Pulisic in one of his greatest performances during the 2014/15 season against England U17. His nation; USA were hosting an annual Nike U17 international tournament. Pulisic was involved in all 3 goals during the 3-1 win, pre-assisting the 1st goal and scoring twice after. The 16 year old finished with 20 goals in 34 games for USMNT U17. Borussia Dortmund signed him during the winter window for free and well the rest is history!

“The Match That Made” is an established series that I started doing back in 2018. The concept is to show the superstars of today, in their best performance of the season before they got signed to a top club. Of course 1 game doesn't make the player who they are today but those special performances are the ones that catch the eyes of world watching!
