Make a decorative cloth stuffed scarecrow snake to deter pests in the garden. This simple DIY sewing project takes little time. Not just a halloween prop, it could be considered a decorative as well as functional addition to the garden.

Choose materials suitable for outdoor use (rain, sun, etc.). Also, if the filling is gravel, as shown in the video, wash and dry it first to prevent staining of the freshly made scarecrow snake.

A full scale PDF of the "head" template shown in the video is available on our website. A direct link to the PDF is: http://adeldor.com/documents/scarecro... .

The template was scanned at 200 DPI. Printing on our printer from our computer, a full sized print (without scaling) results in a correctly sized template. If you don't have a printer, or it doesn't print correctly, it's easy enough to copy by hand. In the video, there is a clear view of the template - with all the measurements.
