Finding a great breakfast restaurant near Colonial Williamsburg is always an exciting occasion for Sarah and me during visits to the area.

When we heard one of Sarah’s recent favorite places to eat an early morning meal had found its way to Williamsburg a few years back, we didn’t delay, once and for all, swinging by for an overdue visit.

First Watch offers many breakfast options, from classic dishes to vegan, organic, gluten-free, and vegetarian recipes. It really has something for just about everybody. Oh yeah, did we mention how amazing this place is?

We headed out mid-morning and decided to enjoy an Autumn breakfast together outside on the First Watch patio. We were looking forward to sipping some hot coffee, drinking some freshly squeezed orange juice, and requesting our favorite made-to-order menu items.

We’ve been raving about the food since eating at the locations in Orlando, Florida, and Fort Mill, South Carolina….but it just made sense for us to finally eat at First Watch in Williamsburg Virginia since it's our second home and we’re here often.

If you’re visiting the Colonial Williamsburg area and looking for a great breakfast outing, after completing a sunrise walk up and down the Duke of Gloucester Street, consider making your way over to First Watch for breakfast.

We did and probably will from here on out on any visit to Williamsburg Virginia when looking for a great breakfast restaurant experience.
