Our farm is currently under an approved conservation plan under the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, (NRCS). This conservation grant will help with pasture planting to improve forage diversity and density, cross fencing for rotational grazing, brush management, along with developing water sources for the livestock herd. Shade is valuable resource in South Texas; the native Live Oaks trees and old growth Mesquites trees will remain.
