Part 1 of a 3 part Shenandoah National Park series. We hit the Appalachian trail and head up Hawksbill Mountain the tallest mountain in Shenandoah National Park. Our first time on the Appalachian trail and have no idea what to expect. We also give the Snapping Turtle jerky a try at the top of Hawksbill Mountain.
Is it worth the hike?
Is the Jerky good?
