Cadillac's latest crossovers are all FWD based vehicles, that can be seen as an issue for the larger XT5 and XT6 as they go head-to-head with European RWD competitors, but the XT4 has no such natural competition. With everyone on equal footing the XT4 makes a compelling argument for going with the Cadillac over the Europeans thanks to generous legroom and a practical cargo area. The only major fly in the ointment? The price tag. The XT4 gets expensive if you get carried away with the options.
