From Shimano Japan:
Aldebaran BFS, the leader in bait finesse, has undergone a dramatic evolution with a newly designed magnetic brake. The newly adopted FTB enables a wide range of brake settings by taking a long movable stroke of the brake unit, and the arrangement of the magnetic ring has been reviewed to eliminate the influence of the magnet in the weakest brake setting 1 as much as possible. Succeeded in getting closer. The synergistic effect of the new FTB that suppresses excessive braking and the low inertia Magnum Light Spool III realizes the growth in the latter half that does not stall until just before landing while maintaining the low trajectory that is Aldebaran's weapon. Even a 1g class ultra-lightweight lure can be sent to the depths of the structure with a trajectory that crawls on the surface of the water. It is the birth of a new Aldebaran that fascinates with ballistics.
