The hero of today's video is the Scammell mobile crane truck, which hit the market in 1969. In 1971, after changing the wheels to the Superfast type, it was produced until 1974. It is one of the classic die-cast models, very popular among children. I received this model from a friend in England. It was complete with minor gaps. As usual, I had to replace the missing tires. The car also had no decals. I had a lot of difficulty removing the old paint from this truck because caustic soda couldn't handle this type of paint.
