In the early hours of July 6th 2022, the Norton Shores Police Department would descend on an address in Michigan to reports that a young boy wasn't breathing.

When they arrived, they found 15-year-old Timothy Ferguson unresponsive, sadly he would be pronounced dead.

There was something off about Timothy though.... his weight.

His mother Shanda Vander Ark would be questioned about this & subsequently told officers that he had been on a hunger strike, however when police began to collect evidence including camera footage, it painted a different picture, something much darker had taken place.

In the 6 months leading up to July 6th 2022, Timothy had been abused at the hands of his mother & brother which ultimately led to his death.
