Football is the most popular sport in the world, but for the last 130 years, it has been dominated by two continents - Europe and South America - that are home to less than 15% of the world's population.

They have won all the FIFA World Cups, had all the best players, and have largely come to define the sport - but for the first time, due to factors both within and outside of the game, that could all be about to change.

So in this video, HITC Sevens looks at the prospects of a realignment of world football, the factors likely to bring such a change about, and the future of the planet and of football alike.
