This week I'm going to make a silicone mold for jewelry. Once I have the ring mold, I will make a wax injection which will be an exact reproduction of the ring but in wax. Then I will make the cast tree and cast it in pink gold.

The added RTV2 silicone I use to make the mold is the Elastosil M4644 Wacker brand. It consists of two components A and B which are mixed in an exact ratio of 10: 1 and subsequently the air bubbles are removed by vacuuming the mixture. Once we have homogeneously mixed components A and B and removed the bubbles, fill the mold and leave it for 24 hours at a temperature between 20 and 35 degrees to harden. We will open it with a scalpel and the jewelry mold will be ready to inject wax inside.

Each week I upload a new video. Do not miss it !!
