In this video I go back to the 1980's and see how many goofs and facts I can find on the Dukes cartoon which was a part of the CBS Saturday morning cartoon line-up.

The Dukes animated series from 1983 was a fun spin-off of the live action Dukes of Hazzard TV series that was a top ten smash up until John Schneider who played Bo Duke and Tom Wopat aka Luke Duke went on strike that is. The cartoon had a storyline that never ended, filled with a few mind blowing goofs, and mysteries no one ever bothered to solve or at least attempt to explain on the show.

In the first season Byron Cherry voiced Coy Duke and Christopher Mayer voiced Vance Duke. Bo and Luke Duke took over in the second season voiced by John Schneider and Tom Wopat. For both seasons Catherine Bach voiced Daisy Duke. Denver Pyle voiced Uncle Jessie. Sorrell Booke voiced Boss Hogg, and James Best voice Rosco P. Coltrane.

The show was a lot of fun but there was a few goofs, especially in one episode where some other unknown actors took over for Bo and Luke Duke for just a few seconds here and there out of the blue. The biggest goofs were plot issues like where did Coy and Vance disappear to in the second season right in the middle of the world wide race. Then there was the fact they never finished the story.

At least Boss Hogg and Rosco provided a lot of laughs and while there was no conclusion to the big story, each individual episode had a satisfactory conclusion to each smaller story within the series.
