I'm the fencer in red. We're doing tournament prep for an upcoming tournament. While I won't be participating, I enjoy being able to spar against much better opponents than myself.

Key takeaways:
1. DO NOT EXPOSE BACK AND BACK OF HEAD... I thought it was a thrust and tried to dodge. If I was fencing anyone else, that could have resulted in a serious injury. BAD
2. Still uncommitted with everything
3. All of my thrusts do not displace the opponent. I thrust straight in front of me when I should be moving the opponent's blade with the thrust
4. I'm facing forward far too much. Need to move my hips with my strikes more instead of just my arms
5. I am so uncomfortably close to my opponent's blade without controlling it. If this was an actual tournament, that would have been taken advantage of much more often than my opponent was doing.
6. I throw the same few strikes and it's getting kinda old
7. When I'm stationary, my legs are bent. When I'm in the middle of an action, they're straight. Bend my legs.

To implement in the future:
1. Move my hips with my cuts. Don't use my arms at all in the next sparring match, let my hips do the work.
2. Commit to my strikes. Doesn't matter if it's a bad engagement. Doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense to commit. I just want to see commitment.
3. Focus on lateral and retreating movements. I tend to just go forward.
