門前仲町駅は東京都江東区に位置する、東京メトロ東西線と都営地下鉄大江戸線の接続駅です。

門前仲町は、富岡八幡宮など有名な神社仏閣を有する「富岡」に隣接する門前町として栄えてきました。

大小あわせて100基以上の町神輿が練り歩く「深川八幡祭り」は、毎年8月に開催され350年以上の歴史があり江戸三大祭りにも数えられています。
月3回開催される深川縁日には多くの露店が並び、活況を呈します。

「深川仲町通り商店街」「深川八幡通り東栄会」「深川不動尊商店会」と3つの商店街があり、下町らしい昔ながらの商店や名店に数えられるような人気の飲食店も多く歩くのが楽しい街です。

中でも辰巳新道(02:03～)は門前仲町のディープな飲み屋街としておすすめです。

東京の下町、門前仲町駅の周辺を歩いてみました。


Monzennakacho Station is located in Koto Ward, Tokyo, and is a connecting station between the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and the Toei Oedo Line.

Monzennakacho has prospered as a town adjacent to "Tomioka", which has famous shrines and temples such as Tomioka Hachimangu.

The Fukagawa Hachiman Festival, in which more than 100 portable shrines of all sizes parade, is held every August and has a history of more than 350 years and is one of the three major festivals in Edo.
Many stalls line up on the Fukagawa fair, which is held three times a month, and it is booming.

There are three shopping streets, "Fukagawa Nakamachi Dori Shopping Street", "Fukagawa Hachiman Dori Toeikai", and "Fukagawa Fudoson Shotenkai", and it is fun to walk around many popular restaurants that can be counted as old-fashioned shops and famous shops that are typical of downtown. It's a city.

Among them, Tatsumi Shindo (02: 03 ~) is recommended as a deep bar in Monzennakacho.

I walked around Monzennakacho station in downtown Tokyo.
