Precipitation time series from Google Earth Engine for a specific region.

We demonstrate, using one's own shapefile, how to add the shapefile as an asset, import the asset into the script, rename the script to "region", and run the script to get the precipitation time series for this new region.

Any shapefile can be used, whether a country, basin, or giraffe-shaped section of the Earth. The following link holds shapefiles for many countries:
