At least five people have been killed and 31 wounded after police fired live bullets as anti-tax demonstrations in Nairobi turned to chaos. Fires have erupted in a parliament building and at the governor’s office in the capital. The unprecedented rallies are being led by younger Kenyans who are protesting a new finance bill which is set to introduce tax hikes.
