This video is the first multi-part series, where I will make a light stick, which I will eventually use to create light trails images at night.

I am going through the electronic components that will make the whole thing work.

One thing worth noting about the FastLED library, is that as added initially, was causing compile errors because of the particular chipset (ATMEGA 4809) on the Arduino Nano Every, which is a relatively new model. After doing a bit of searching online, I eventually came across a workaround, on a GitHub page, adding some lines to a few of the files in the FastLED library, to make it work with the 4809 chipset.

The images of the Arduino Nano board without the pins, and the board, plus the pins and box, were obtained from the Arduino website, released as Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0.
