Learning how to read notes on the grand staff quickly doesn't need to be difficult.

When you read notes using mnemonics like Every Good Boys Does Fine, the grand staff becomes confusing quickly. With four saying and two staves, finding the notes becomes very difficult. Plus, even if you do have these memorized, this doesn't tell you where the notes are on the piano.

By memorizing four pointer notes - treble C, bass C, treble G, and bass F - you will be well on your way to becoming fluent in the grand staff.
