There are quite a few fisherman that I meet who insist that the salmon here in Ontario creeks and rivers will not bite on roe or even spinners or spoons. Just before I hooked this chinook on skein I had a salmon FOLLOW and bite my spinner. Unfortunately it pulled off. So to those who doubt please stop saying they won’t bite and be persistent. The spinner bite and skein bite took me about 3 hours to get. I just tried different spots and bam!
