New single, featuring Pete Townshend!
It’s the first single to drop from our album, Emerge. Return.
Out due 28th 2024.
Sanctuary is inspired by Philip Pullman’s La Belle Sauvage from his trilogy, The Book of Dust
.

We’re so happy to finally get these recordings into the world after a few years in the making (plus a pandemic and kids!)
Working with Pete Townshend was an incredible experience and we hope you enjoy the sound we made together.

LYRICS
Close the shutters and lock out the world
For safety, for sanctuary.
Is it safe to believe what you’re told
by friends or their enemies?

The walls are high and we are guarded here
By all that we ought to know.
But water rises up and dust gets in,
We’re covered from head to toe.

And brought to a shore
That wasn’t there before.

The weather changes and the walls are pulled
Way down, we weigh down
All our hopes upon La Belle Sauvage
To safety, to sanctuary.
