In this video I am showing how to remove and repair a NTG 2.0 navigation in a Mercedes Benz ML W164 or GL X164. The most common problems that plague these navigation units are a constant reboot or the navigation DVD not being read properly, which results in a constant "please insert navigation dvd" message. If the steps in the guide a followed and you are experiencing any of these two issues, your problems should be solved. Please keep in mind that this will help only if the navigation unit itself is the issue. As Mercedes vehicles from this generation use MOST instead of CAN BUS, there are also other failure points, which may foster the reboot issue in particular (CD changer, amplifier, etc...)
