The beads inside of the scrub matter. Our Gentle Polishing scrub is made with little tiny man made beads and are completely symmetrical in size and shape, with no edges. Most scrubs are made with sharp apricot pits (or similar) potentially scratching living skin cells creating more dead skin in the long run. Pushing too hard can likely to cause damage (like scarring and hyperpigmenation), so think of it as 'polishing' rather than scrubbing. The more dead superficial skin that comes off, the better your homecare products will penetrate - everything will work better!
