"XSAQÄR" is a short film introducing the culture and day to day life of the Guatemalan town of San Lucas Tolimán, Sololá. Located near lake Atitlán next to the majestuous volcanoes "Atitlán" and "Tolimán".


"Xsaqär" is the Kaqchikel translation for "Good morning".
Kaqchikel, is the most spoken indigenous language locally and in parts of the region, a branch of the Mayan languages family.
