Kubota finally stepped up and replaced my sidekick before the warranty ran out. Had trouble since new with crankcase oil contamination with gas and moisture that was originally blamed on short tripping. I was leery of another Sidekick and was able to pay the difference and move up to a diesel model.
Still switching things over and glad to have the stress of this whole situation over with.
