In this second video of our Gallic Wars series, we'll explore a new threat that emerged while Caesar was still busy battling the Helvetians at the Battle of Bibracte. They were the Suebi: a Germanic people who had recently crossed the River Rhine and were now seeking to establish a new homeland in Gaul. These fierce warriors and their leader Ariovistus would challenge the Roman legions and provide Caesar another opportunity to prove whether he was truly a skilled commander.
