We have test driven and range tested the Renault Megane E-tech, the first all-electric Renault based on a dedicated electric vehicle platform shared with Nissan Ariya and others. Renault was very early in the electric car sphere with the best-selling Renault Zoe, but after that it lagged behind a bit, until 2022 when production of the Megane E-tech began. Renault has recently reduced the prices of the Megane E-tech by up to 7000 EUR, which means that the entry-level model starts at SEK 34 400 EUR and then you get a car with a 40 kWh battery, a WLTP range of 300 km. We have the top-of-the-range version starting at 43 300 EUR, which has a 60 kWh battery, a WLTP range of up to 450 km and a 220 hp engine. Today's test will be slightly different from our usual test drives, as this time we will focus extra on testing the car's range and charging, thus a little less focus on the car's exterior and interior - feel free to comment if you prefer this type of setup on our test drives! Watch the video to see what we thought of the Renault Megane E-tech!
