Bariapathar waterfall is a beautiful waterfall with natural pool over river mahendratanaya, just 9 kms from Burakhat pass of Mahendragiri.

To reach you have to take Joarada - Burakhat pass road, currently road work going on for widening of current road and channeling water streams that makes road slushy specially in rainy season when i visited.

There were few big pot holes filled with water and washed off sections that made solo bike ride difficult.

Visiting for first time in seven visits to mahendragiri i had low expectations but it was more than what i expected. Stream is very near to reach and pool is easy to reach to take bath.

It's also a popular picnic spot for locals.
If you are coming to mahendragiri, you can visit the waterfall but road is not great as you can see in my video.
