The Pines Course is being reimagined by golf course architect team, Coore & Crenshaw. The historic property in central Massachusetts has received a large amount of capital investment recently with brand new bunkering on the Oaks Course, a Tom Fazio design, by architect Tripp Davis. Coore and Crenshaw have taken on redesigning the Pines Course, keeping the natural flow of the environment with an all new layout and player experience that promises to be one of the best private golf courses in the nation. Hole Eight is a drivable par 4 that adds to the diversity of the Coore and Crenshaw masterpiece. Don’t let the length of this hole fool you. Aggressive plays may lead to bogies while playing the hole conservatively may offer the best birdie opportunities. Players will need to use precision to hit the smallest green on the course, well-guarded by bunkers on the right and a drop off to a collection area on the left.
