The reaction is violent and shows how effective enzymes as Catalase is at breaing down hydrogen peroxide.

To make the experiment more "fun" to watch, i have added a bit of soap and fruit colour to get the bubbles to form the "slime"

A good way to continue is to do the same experiment with boiled yeast. This shows that catalase no longer works as the protein now is denaturated,
