The LAV-ATM turret is unmanned and can fire TOW missiles with both wire and radio frequency guidance. The LAV-ATM has an improved thermal imaging sight, a long-range targeting system, new commander/guide video sight displays, and an electric elevation and azimuth drive system to turn the system on target
