Wairarapa youngster Chance Ropiha was getting himself in to trouble at school, until a teacher got him to out hunting with her husband Randall. Chance loved hunting, and putting his energy into something constructive turned his life around. The 14 year old had found a mentor in a 60-year-old farm manager and hunter, Randall. This odd couple have become great mates through their love of the outdoors, and Matt takes them on the ultimate kiwi outdoors adventure to Fiordland. Helicopters take the team into the most remote and unspoilt part of New Zealand, where a 50 foot boat is waiting to be their home for a week, as they fish, dive, hunt and explore. But it’s not a cruise, Matt pushes the pair to make the most of every minute and they have some incredible experiences in the hills, on the sea and under the sea.
