Atheist rant time: I'm fed up with hearing people get offended because I don't accept their religion. I don't get offended that they "reject" my atheism! Why do theists feel rejected? They think I'm somehow rejecting THEM personally because they've made their religion a part of their identity. But like arrows in a quiver, our beliefs should be interchangeable based on evidence. Instead, people have made their beliefs the quiver itself - making them a part of their identity crisis, and then they get offended when you reject their beliefs because they think you're rejecting them, and they have an identity crisis when they realize that that belief is false. But all ideas should be scrutinized and up for debate. No idea is sacred.
